So, we attempted to take the boys skiing. It was a little scary because we do not claim to be expert skiers by any means, and we have never had a lesson to learn the proper technique ourselves, nevertheless, we thought we'd pass on our novice ski skills to our prodigy much to the chagrin to other skiers, I'm sure. We went to a very
manageable hill and the boys did so great! We taught that hill who was boss! A few discoveries we made:
1.) not even a pair of long, awkward skis will keep Rex from throwing an all out kicking and screaming tantrum. (He NEVER wants to ski again!! Which is a shame because he really took to it quickly.)
2.) Little boys are easily distracted by eating snow even when in the middle of a run down the hill
3.) My boys are far more interested in how the skis and boots click off and on than actually skiing.
4.) Scott needs a new pair of mittens ;)
We will keep trying to get the boys on skis. It was really fun even though I yelled a lot.
